Terms & Conditions
This Agreement governs your use of the Eventnet platform and all associated services. By accessing or using Eventnet, you unconditionally accept these terms. This is a legally binding agreement.
Last updated: June 2026 · Governed by the laws of India
1. About Eventnet
Eventnet is an online marketplace operated by Eventnet Technologies Private Limited ("Eventnet", "we", "us") that connects customers seeking event services with independent service providers ("Vendors"). Eventnet acts as an intermediary under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and is not a party to, nor guarantor of, any contract between a Vendor and a customer.
These terms are governed by: the Information Technology Act, 2000; the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021; the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; the Consumer Protection Act, 2019; and all other applicable laws of India.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using Eventnet you confirm that you are legally competent to enter into binding contracts under Indian law and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate event details, dates, and contact information when making an enquiry or booking
- Pay agreed amounts on time through Eventnet's approved payment methods only
- Treat vendors, partner executives, and Eventnet staff with respect at all times
- Not attempt to contact vendors directly to negotiate terms outside the platform after an initial connection through Eventnet
- Raise complaints, disputes, or refund requests exclusively through official Eventnet channels
- Not submit false, defamatory, or malicious reviews
4. Vendor Responsibilities
- Provide truthful business information and valid, up-to-date verification documents
- List accurate pricing, packages, and availability at all times
- Respond to booking inquiries within 24 hours
- Deliver services exactly as agreed — on scope, date, and price — without hidden charges
- Maintain all applicable statutory licences (FSSAI, trade licence, GST, etc.)
- Never solicit or accept payment outside the Eventnet platform
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
5. Partner Executive Responsibilities
- Onboard only genuine vendors with valid, verifiable documents
- Represent Eventnet honestly — no false promises regarding earnings, leads, or guarantees
- Never collect fees, cash, or advances from vendors outside the Eventnet platform
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all vendor and customer information
- Not engage in any conflict of interest with vendors in your assigned territory
6. Bookings and Payments
A booking is confirmed only after payment is received through the Eventnet platform and accepted by the vendor. Once confirmed, both the customer and vendor are bound to honour the agreed scope, date, and price.
All payments — advances, balances, and additional charges — must flow exclusively through Eventnet. Off-platform payments are not protected by Eventnet's policies and will result in account suspension for the relevant party.
7. Booking Advance and Vendor Payouts
At booking confirmation, Eventnet collects a booking advance of 20–30% of the agreed package amount from the customer and disburses it to the vendor's verified bank account upon successful completion of the booking. The remaining balance (70–80%) is settled directly between the customer and the vendor after the event is delivered. Eventnet does not charge a per-booking commission; its revenue is earned through vendor subscription plans and lead credit packages. Applicable TDS is deducted before payout disbursement where required under Indian tax law. Vendors are solely responsible for issuing proper GST invoices and filing all tax returns on the full gross booking value.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation policies (advance amount forfeiture, partial refunds) applicable to each booking are displayed at the time of booking
- Vendors who cancel confirmed bookings without a genuine emergency will be liable to refund the advance in full and may face account suspension
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days to the original payment method
- Subscription payments and lead credit purchases are non-refundable once activated
- Disputes regarding refunds must be raised within 7 days of the event date through the Support section
9. Intellectual Property
All content uploaded by vendors (photographs, videos, descriptions) remains the vendor's property. By uploading content, vendors grant Eventnet a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and use that content for platform and marketing purposes. Vendors warrant they own or have rights to all uploaded content.
The Eventnet name, logo, and platform are the intellectual property of Eventnet Technologies Private Limited. You may not reproduce, imitate, or use our branding without express written permission.
10. Prohibited Conduct
- Submitting false, forged, or expired verification documents
- Accepting or soliciting payments outside the platform
- Redirecting customers or vendors to competing platforms after contact through Eventnet
- Uploading content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Submitting fake reviews, fake bookings, or manipulating ratings
- Threatening, abusing, or harassing any user, vendor, or Eventnet staff member
- Any activity that constitutes fraud, cheating, or a criminal offence under Indian law
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eventnet Technologies Private Limited, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, breach of these terms, violation of applicable law, or infringement of any third party's rights.
12. Limitation of Liability
Eventnet is a technology marketplace and intermediary. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eventnet is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of vendor services; indirect or consequential damages; or platform unavailability. Eventnet's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total subscription fees and lead credit amounts paid to Eventnet by the relevant party in the three months preceding any claim.
